Secondary Clinics Now Registering!

The Elementary Clinics are now filled, and the Mini-Clinic begins today! Exciting times in the Reading Clinic! We do still have openings in our Secondary Clinics which begin the week of March 15. There are two separate clinics which meet on either Monday or Thursday Evenings. The following is a brief description of what each opportunity provides the participant:

Opportunity #3 – Secondary Reading Clinic (grades 6-12) Help for struggling adolescent readers or students looking to improve their reading skills. Tutoring will be in the following specific areas of need: Word Study, Vocabulary, Reading Fluency, and/or Reading Comprehension. Parents must select needed area as we do not use formal assessments in this clinic.
March 15, 22, 29, April 12, 19, and 26 (students must attend all 6 sessions)
Mondays 6:45 – 8:30 p.m. Cost: $50

Opportunity #4 – Secondary Reading Clinic (grades 6-12) Help for struggling adolescent students looking to improve their study and learning strategies. Students may bring Reading, Writing, Science, or Social Studies homework and learn study and learning strategies that will improve their comprehension, vocabulary, or reading fluency skills.
March 18, 25, April 1, 15, 22 and 29 (students must attend all 6 sessions)
Thursdays 6:45 – 8:30 Cost: $50.00

If you or someone you know might benefit from joining our Aquinas students in the Reading Clinic, we would greatly appreciate the chance to work with any student struggling or just wanting to improve.

The history of the Aquinas Reading Clinic is very rich, and with the support of our friends in the College and community that history will continue to grow. Scholarships are available, so please do not hesitate to inquire.
